Overview

This project is a web system created for the MUIC Student Association (SMO) to help students verify their MUIC email and claim a discount coupon for the "Once In The Moon Light" concert.

The system allows students who have verified before to get the same coupon using MariaDB transactions, which also prevents race conditions. It is designed to be fast, reliable, and easy to use, making the ticket discount process simple for all students.

Project Flow

1. Countdown to Coupon Release

Students see a countdown timer before coupons are available.

2. Email Verification Form

Users fill out their MUIC student details for verification.

3. Email Confirmation Sent

Once submitted, a verification email is sent to the student.

4. Claim Your Coupon

After verification, students receive their discount code instantly.

5. Email Delivery of Coupon

Students also get a direct email with their coupon and claim instructions.
