Overview

Digital-Signage is an interactive media system created for TEDxMahidolU to let attendees share their personal 8-second (or shorter) memory videos with a short message. Once uploaded, these memories are displayed live across multiple event screens, creating an engaging and community-driven experience.

The platform provides an intuitive upload interface where users can easily select a video, attach a short message, and submit it for real-time display. For administrators, a robust control panel allows managing playback, targeting specific display widgets, instantly playing selected memories, and removing content from all widgets, the database, and Cloudflare R2 storage.

This system was designed to enhance event interactivity, giving attendees a meaningful way to contribute to the visual storytelling of TEDxMahidolU.

Project Flow

1. Home Screen & Introduction

Displays the event branding and live online screen count, setting the stage for interactive participation.

2. Uploading a Memory

Attendees choose a short video (up to 8 seconds or 50MB), add a short text message, and submit it for display.

3. Initializing & Processing

The system processes the uploaded video and prepares it for real-time display on selected event screens.

Admins can select widgets, manage playlists, randomize content, and reload displays as needed.
